How to configure Events

Events in CDP are triggers that you can define for targeted messages to be sent out.

In order to set up an Event in CDP, click on "+ Add Event" and then choose the type of event:

The available Event Types are:

• After Booking
• After Cancellation
• After Check-in
• After Check-out
• Before Arrival
• Before Check-out

After choosing the appropriate Event Type, you need to define the following:

• Location for which this Event should be used (multiple can be selected)
• Target Audience
• Guest Type (Booker/Main Guest/Additional Guest)
• Event title (name under which it will be listed)
• Time span (define a delay of X minutes/hours/days for the Event to trigger) 
• Type (Mailchimp transactional, Twilio, webhook)

And depending on the selected type, the corresponding mailchimp/twilio connector or webhook URL must be added.
