The dashboard Data and Merging shows you the effect of the CDP, i.e. the guest records that the CDP created from the raw data you imported from your PMS.
Every guest has one CDP profile but this may be based on multiple source profiles thanks to algorithmic data deduplication and merging in CDP. This process uses weighted fields (first name, last name, email, phone number, date of birth, etc.) and has exclusion criteria to prevent incorrect merging.
The merging process is automatic, with no manual intervention currently available. While email addresses are not lost, the CDP prioritizes email addresses with consent for marketing campaigns. Within each profile, you will see a summary of the original profiles, the reservations, revenue, campaign activity and the consent event log:
